Hi I'm having an intermittent problem when trainees log on to the network, It seems to map the shared drive but doesn't correctly map the user drive, this is set via the a batch file in the sysvol folder with the NET USE command on logon. Folder permissions are correct , and if i copied the user in AD and created a test user with same profile path for test user, it works ok. If you disable or do not configure this setting, Windows does not wait for the network to be fully initialized and users are logged on with cached credentials.
Group Policy is applied asynchronously in the background. Therefore, please enable this setting for a test. Also configure fast logon optimization GPO to be disabled:.
